I think the thing about this drawing is I hit a point where I should've stopped, because my inner voice, my instinct told me I was too tired and if I kept going it would come out poorly. But I pushed it anyway. I think it's because I like being in the dreamworld I enter while drawing. It's orgasmic in terms of the feeling I get when I hit that state that produces the best art. Yet the Taekwondo effect on my body and mind seems to rip me out of this state of pure pleasure in imagination, and grounds me in the physical reality. This is why an artist's work often tends to suffer in times of war if they're in military service.
